Built to host and commemorate the SEA games, SEA Games Golf Club is a new hidden gem of the Laotian golfing circuit. The golf course was built by the Boo Young Company of Korea and opened in 2009. The course, built on 150 hect- ares with three courses and 27 holes, was built at Phokham village just 18 km from Vientiane, perfect for a quick stopover and golf game near the capital of Laos.

The holes of the SEA Games Golf Club are surrounded by expansive water bodies, with the largest water body being 1000 yards long. The flat, links-style track has quite a few elevations, average being about 15 feet. Moreover, the course provides a fun golfing experience for golfers of all levels.
