Situated on over 350 ha in Phuoc Tan village, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, Vietnam, which is about 36 km east from Ho Chi Minh City, Long Thanh Golf Resort has been constructed on a plateau, offering superb panoramic views in every direction. The golf course is easily found by road and takes about a 40-minute drive from Ho Chi Minh city. The journey now can be reached by the Saigon-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway that takes about 50 minutes from the center of Ho Chi Minh city.
Long Thanh Golf Course was designed by the world-renowned golf course architects’ firm - Golf Plan - headed by Mr. Ron Fream and Mr. David Dale with more than 35 years experience in designing, building and maintaining golf courses throughout the world.
The golf course consists of 36 holes, 18 holes out of which are more challenging for professionals, and the remaining are for new, ambitious golfers. It features rolling fairways and subtly beautiful features.
The 18-hole Hill Course, which is more challenging, is constructed on a plateau. Players will get memorable experiences on each hole, which has a special design. The 18-hole Lake Course is surrounded by the branches of Dong Nai river and offers a cool breeze to this area. Lake Course is set up with international standard lights for night golfing.
The grass of the course is species Paspalum, which is dedicated for golf courses, helps golfers make accurate shots. Playing golf at Long Thanh Golf Resort, players will enjoy the beauty of sunrise and sunset from the hill base. With the natural environment in the beautiful landscape, the course is more attractive to clients than anywhere else.
The course is a combination of a 36-hole golf course, driving range, central clubhouse, pro-shop, restaurant, conference rooms, lockers and luxurious villas.
In 2013 Long Thanh Golf Resort was voted as one of the best golf courses in Vietnam by Asian Golf Magazine because of its turf surface in good condition, modern equipment, professional and enthusiastic staff.
