Introduction

Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor is one of Siem Reap’s most iconic five-star heritage hotels, combining 1930s French Art Deco architecture, Cambodian influences and timeless Raffles hospitality. Opened in 1932, the hotel has played an important role in the history of Siem Reap’s tourism industry and was extensively restored before reopening under the Raffles brand. Its elegant architecture, landscaped gardens and historic atmosphere make it particularly appealing to travelers seeking a distinctive Cambodian experience.

The property offers 119 rooms, suites and villas, featuring classic interiors enhanced with contemporary comforts. Accommodation combines high ceilings, elegant furnishings, Cambodian decorative details and modern amenities. Selected suites and villas provide additional living space and enhanced privacy, while the hotel’s signature Raffles Butler Service offers personalized assistance throughout the stay.

Hotel facilities include five restaurants and bars, Raffles Spa, a fitness center, two tennis courts and a 35-meter outdoor swimming pool surrounded by 15 acres of landscaped tropical gardens. Guests can enjoy refined Khmer and international cuisine, traditional wellness treatments and a peaceful garden atmosphere. The hotel also offers distinctive cultural experiences, including private dining and curated journeys connected with Angkor.

For golfers, Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor offers an excellent combination of luxury accommodation, temple sightseeing and golf. Angkor Golf Resort, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, is the principal championship golf option in Siem Reap. The course is currently temporarily closed for renovation from June 2026, so availability should be reconfirmed when planning future golf tours.

The hotel is particularly suitable for premium golf-and-culture itineraries, couples’ golf holidays and VIP groups, providing a memorable combination of historic elegance, personalized service and access to Cambodia’s world-famous Angkor heritage.
