Introduction

Located in the countryside of Nghia Dan, the sunflower fields spread across gently rolling hills in northwestern Nghe An. Bright yellow blooms contrast with the reddish-brown basalt soil and surrounding green farmland, creating a distinctive landscape within the province’s agricultural heartland. The fields form part of the TH Group’s farming operations rather than a conventional ornamental flower garden, giving the attraction a strong connection to local agriculture.

The scenery changes throughout the year according to the planting and flowering cycles. When the sunflowers reach full bloom, large sections of the hills turn golden, with rows of flowers extending across the landscape and distant hills forming a natural backdrop. The scale of the fields and the contrast between the flowers, cultivated land and open countryside make this one of Nghe An’s best-known seasonal landscapes.

The sunflower fields have become a popular photography destination, drawing visitors who come to experience the vivid colours and expansive rural views. Their appeal is closely tied to the flowering season, which can vary with agricultural schedules and growing conditions. Beyond the flowers themselves, the surrounding countryside reflects the transformation of Nghia Dan into an important agricultural area, linking the landscape to the region’s dairy farming and rural economy.
