Introduction

Vietnam Golf & Country Club is Vietnam’s first 36-hole golf complex and is widely recognized as one of the country’s leading golf destinations. Conveniently located approximately 20 kilometres from central Ho Chi Minh City, it offers golfers easy access to a premier golfing experience amid a peaceful natural setting.

Spanning approximately 300 hectares, the club features two distinctive courses thoughtfully developed within existing woodland. The layouts preserve much of the natural landscape, creating a harmonious blend of mature trees, rolling fairways and lush greenery that gives each course its own character.

The West Course, which opened in December 1994, was designed by Taiwanese architect Chen King Shih. It hosted the Vietnam Open, an Asian PGA Tour event, in 1995 and 1997. Its tree-lined fairways demand accuracy from the tee, while the gently contoured Bermuda TifEagle greens provide smooth putting surfaces throughout the year.

The East Course, designed by six-time major champion Lee Trevino, opened in September 1997. Compared with the West Course, it offers more generous fairways, balanced by strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and undulating Bermuda TifDwarf greens. Together, the two courses provide varied challenges for golfers of different abilities, making Vietnam Golf & Country Club an appealing destination for both recreational rounds and competitive play.
