Introduction

Nestled amid the green countryside of Dong Nai, Suoi Mo Park is a popular nature escape known for its fresh spring water and peaceful landscape. Its natural water sources feed a broad lake and swimming areas, where clear blue-green water contrasts beautifully with the surrounding trees. The combination of rocky streams, small cascades and open lakeside spaces creates a distinctive setting that has earned the park its nickname, “a sea in the forest.” Located around 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City, it is an appealing destination for travellers seeking a break from urban life.

The park offers more than scenery. Visitors can swim in designated spring-fed pools, relax by the water, enjoy floating inflatable obstacle courses or take part in activities such as pedal boating and stand-up paddleboarding when available. Families can make use of dedicated children’s water-play areas, while groups can organise picnics, camping and outdoor team-building activities. These experiences make Suoi Mo suitable for visitors of different ages, whether they prefer a leisurely day in nature or a more active outing.

The dry season, generally from December to April, is often convenient for outdoor activities, although the park can be enjoyed at other times depending on weather and water conditions. Visitors should bring swimwear, sun protection and a change of clothes, and follow safety guidance around natural water areas. Suoi Mo Park is ideal for a day trip or relaxed weekend escape, particularly for families and travellers who want to combine refreshing water activities with the greenery of Dong Nai’s countryside.
