Located in the foothills north of Nha Trang, Ba Ho Waterfalls takes its name from the three natural pools formed along a mountain stream. Originating near the 660-metre-high Hon Son peak, the stream winds through rocky terrain and tropical forest before flowing towards the lowlands. Water cascades over successive rock formations, creating a landscape of clear pools, shaded banks and green vegetation.
Each pool has its own setting, with the lower section offering relatively accessible scenery and the upper levels revealing more rugged rock formations and secluded water basins. The contrast between the cool water, weathered boulders and surrounding forest gives Ba Ho its distinctive character as a natural destination beyond Nha Trang’s beaches.
The surrounding ecotourism area combines the stream’s natural landscape with facilities such as a swimming pool, restaurant, bungalow accommodation and water-based recreational activities. Ba Ho is known for its blend of forest scenery and outdoor recreation, making it a notable nature destination in Khanh Hoa Province.
